"Situation description":

Surya is the team leader whereas Komal, Dipti & Ganesh are team members.  Team got a new project & for that all are discussing with each other. Team members are asking information to their team leader.

Surya: 

Congratulation to all of you guys!!! As we got a new project of banking software, I hope you read all the functionalities and requirements. If you have any doubt   then you can frankly ask me.

Komal:  Surya, there are some confusions related with functionalities & its mitigations.

Dipti: Yes Komal actually I am also confused between functionalities & attributes. Surya could you please tell me what are the attributes here?

Surya: Sure..! See guys, the 3 attributes which are mentioned here are Usability, Releability, Performance & Security.

Ganesh: I have one doubt Surya. Could you please tell me which kind of mitigation we have to take for making payments?

Surya: ohh yes Ganesh ….listen , for making payments we can take mitigation as ‘verification of code’ using this there is low possibility of false condition execution.

Dipti: Is it compulsory to define same mitigation for all features?

Surya: No it depends upon thinking of tester or one’s perception.

Ganesh:  could you please tell me what is the duration given to us for this project?

Surya: We have to give our 1^st prototype within 4 months.

Komal: Hey Surya, which process model we are using here? We used V model for our last project now which model we have to use?

Surya: We are using RUP model as we know the final outputs & we modify it according to our needs. Ok guys, please do detail study about this project & also SRS documentation given by me. If you are having any doubts you can ask  me at any time.  And yes finally I want to clear main points that first of all remember the attributes usability, reliability, performance & security. Second point is mitigation….see mitigation is major part and we have to design it. Third point is about our time schedule. So, I hope you will do your best…all the best guys..!!

                                       Test Analysis on a Travel Agency

Documentation :-

Scenario :-

“Enjoy Travel Agency” is one of the best travel agencies in Hyderabad. They top in ranking compared to other travel agencies. They provide best tour package at unbelievable

price. This time, It came up with three different summer packages. The details are as follows

Details :-

1. Delhi :- four days, Three night stays. Three star accommodation, Flight traveling , Complete Delhi tour. Cost is Rs. 20000/- (for two persons)

2. Bangalore and Mysore :-

Four days, Three night stays. Three star accommodation, Flight traveling , Complete Bangalore and Mysore tour. Cost is Rs. 15000/- ( per pair)

3. Kanya Kumari:-

Five days, four night stays. Three star accommodation, train traveling , Complete visit on different types of temples. Cost is Rs. 30,000/- ( per pair)

Analysis ( Data):-

According to the calculations, most of the customer are opting for bang lore and Mysore, than Delhi and Kanya Kumari.

Test Condition :-

What is the main reason behind it for most of the customers to choose only Bangalore and Mysore

Test Cases :-

These are the following test cases found, based on the requirement and data analysis.

1. Tour Schedule :-
   
   
   The tour schedule is perfect and flexible for most of the working employees.
   Four days and three nights, including traveling is so convenient for them. Even govt and non govt people can easily spend there time with ease and enjoyment.

2. Accommodation:-
   
   
   The travel Agency provides, three star hotel accommodation, which is more beneficial in view of budget . Even average people can afford with the price that the travel agency is offering to them.

3. Mode of Transportation :- 
   The travel agency is providing “Flight” facility for the customers. This is the fastest means of transportation. Through this, the customers can utilize the time to visit more places. If the traveling is done by train, the time schedule may not be sufficient. Hence most of the people are opting to Bangalore.
   
   
   4. Places to Visit :- 

4.  Bangalore is the land for greenery , hence its called as “Green City”. The climate adds more advantage in attracting the people all around. Mysore which is near to Bangalore is known for it s beauty. Maharaja palace, Safari Zoo, Brindavan garden etc. adds more beauty and this would be the best place to visit during summer.

5. Budget :-

The overall budget for above facilities would cost around Rs. 20000/- but the travel agency is offering customers only for Rs 15,000/- if two pair or more book the tickets at once. Hence its effort able and worthwhile.

Conclusion :-

In view of above inputs and data , we  finally conclude that, the tour package is attractive and economically good for most of the customers and even to achieve good satisfaction . Hence the reason, Bangalore and Mysore are preferred when compared to Delhi and Kanyakumari.
